February 8 - 2006

Raleigh, NC - Oak Ranch is now accepting applications for at-risk boys, ages 6-16, from low income families in Central North Carolina. Five Scholarships, valued at $50,000, will be offered to 5 boys, ages 6-16, who are at-risk for involvement with gangs, drugs, or alcohol, have been victims of abuse, struggle in a public school setting, have lost a parent or guardian, or have other life-situation obstacles.

With a sellout crowd, Oak Ranch had its best, and most successful, Coaches Luncheon ever. The fundraising goal for this year was exceeded by 20% and several people commented,

Horseback riders come on out and support the kids in our third annual Oak Ranch Benefit Trail Ride sponsored by First Bank of Sanford NC! Saddle up and enjoy either an easy or moderately challenging (3-4 hour) guided horse trail ride, or ride independently, in some of North Carolina's most scenic country.
